Savaria overhead patient lift installation

Beginning to install a Savaria patient lift during a bathroom and bedroom remodel.

This client went with a "X-Y" or "H" style system that allows her to use the lift in any position or direction within the range of the 2 sets of rails.

Old bathroom: This client is using a power wheelchair full time for mobility.

This bathroom is very narrow, wall damage from the wheelchair hitting the wall during transfers to the toilet, sink is not accessible.

Before: tall concrete steps with no railing, very difficult for the owners to get in safely. He had to pull himself up using only the door handle. His wife was coming home from the hospital using a walker, and needed strong railings and room to put her walker on the steps.
